Nairobi, Kenya

Janet and Jeny went on a missions trip to Nairobi, Kenya to visit a school Janet's church supports.
Janet Writes:
The Founders of Furaha School grew up in a slum in Nairobi and were able to go to college, but heard a call from God to go back to their community and help the children there by tutoring them. It started in a small space (10x10 shanty). And eventually because of diligence, perseverance, hard work, donations from generous donors and God’s mighty hand Furaha Primary and Secondary Schools were born and now are thriving. The students in this slum now have hope and a future.

Below: This is the new High School. Janet and Jeny were there for the dedication ceremony.
Jeny writes:
For those of you that don’t know why I’m visiting Africa, “Furaha” is the school we came to visit on our mission trip. This is one of the most eye-opening trips I have ever taken of what real poverty is like.
