Dolores was honored for her countless hours of service at MIQ, the catholic school in Lemoore. She was given the award at the school's annual $100 Dinner held on June 8.

Here is the speech one of the 8th grade students gave:
"We honor Mrs. Dolores Brown for her generosity in supporting our students, for volunteering countless hours in our front office, and for always bringing joy to those she encountered. Thank you for blessing our community time and time again and ensuring MIQ students thrive. Present this evening on behalf of Mrs. Brown are her four granddaughters Melissa, Amy, Lisette and Emily. This award is being accepted by Mrs. Brown’s daughters Diane and Sue."
