Tim and Family Visit Hoover Dam

Tim and his family on a recent trip to Hoover Dam.
Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. (Wikipedia)
The Dam is a National Historic Landmark and has been rated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders.
Hoover Dam is one of the country's largest hydroelectric plants. It generates power for use in Nevada, Arizona, and California - enough to serve 1.3 million people. (https://www.usbr.gov/lc/hooverdam/faqs/powerfaq.html)
