Mother Ferry's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mother Ferry liked her cookies thin and crispy.
Everyone else did too!
While Bill Ferry visited Lemoore, he recounted making chocolate chip cookies with Mother Ferry in her kitchen. Dolores shares the same memory as I'm sure Ann and Ed do too.
Keeping the memory alive, we made Mother Ferry's delicious chocolate chip cookies while Bill was visiting. He kept snapping pictures of them and sending them to his sister, Helen, to make her jealous!

This recipe is also shared in Nona's book Green Shamrocks to Golden Poppies, p. 77.

I was thinking about these last week. I’m going to make myself a batch.

Yummy! Those look exactly like the chocolate chip cookies Mom (Dolores) always baked. 😃🍪🍪
