My Model T Leaks!
For two years Nona attended USC. Getting to school was difficult, so her father bought her a Model T Ford, which enabled her to drive directly to school. Her Ford sedan had a leaky roof, but she solved the problem. When it rained, she opened an umbrella over her head inside the car and drove on. One time, her dad introduced her to one of his associates and the man laughed, saying, “So you are the girl driving with the open umbrella in the car!” She felt terribly embarrassed!
