This is delicious!
2 1/2 c. cubed cooked corned beef
1 16oz. jar sauerkraut
8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. mayonaise
Rye Bread
Mix all ingredients (except bread) in a Crock Pot.
Cover & cook on low for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm on toasted rye bread or grill in your panini maker.
(I left out the cheddar cheese. If you don't have corned beef, cook the other4 or 5 ingredients and make your sandwich with pastrami.)
I made this after spending the night with Steve and Linda when Linda cooked a delicious St. Patrick's Day dinner of corned beef and cabbage. Like always, Linda sent a nice package of food home with me!
History Lesson: Mother Ferry never spent a night alone--either, someone would come spend a night with her or she would go to their home. She had a wonderful family just like I do!

Oh yum that sounds good! I have heard wonderful things about Mother Ferry. Do you think she was as easy and wonderful as YOU are to have over? If so, the saying is true "the apples don't fall far from the tree".
